Tactacam Reveal plans explained: Starter, Intermediate, Pro, and the Xtra add-on that changes the math
Three tiers, a discount for each additional camera, and one add-on priced per account instead of per camera. Here's every number from Tactacam's plan page, worked out at one to six cameras.

- Xtra add-on (account-wide): $4/mo for 1 camera, $7/mo for 2, $9/mo for 3+. Unlimited HD photo and video requests, multi-shot delivery, enhanced mapping, unlimited on-demand, TactaColor. Requires an active subscription; Tactacam marks the pricing 'available for a limited time only'.
Starter and Intermediate meter photos; Pro is unlimited. Every tier sends standard-resolution photos; HD requests, multi-shot delivery, on-demand photos and videos, enhanced mapping and TactaColor are Xtra features. Tactacam states "no activation fee."
How additional cameras are billed
The first camera on a tier pays the full price; each additional camera on the same tier pays the "per additional camera" rate: $5 (Starter), $7.50 (Intermediate), $12 (Pro). So four cameras on Pro is $13 + $12 + $12 + $12 = $49/mo. Annual pricing ($55 / $85 / $120) is listed for the first camera; the plan page lists additional cameras as monthly figures.
Xtra: what it includes and why it's per account
This is the feature that makes Tactacam the multi-camera brand. At Spypoint, HD is $5 per 50 photos per camera. At Tactacam, it's $9 a month for everything on the account, whether that's three cameras or ten. The on-demand video that the Pro 3.0 and Ultra are sold on lives here too, so budget Xtra if you bought either for that reason. Tactacam's "limited time" note means this could change; the date at the top of this page is when we read it.

Against the other brands: at four cameras unlimited, Tactacam's $49 is under Moultrie's $51.96 and Stealth Cam's $57, and over Spypoint's $40 annual; add HD everywhere and Tactacam's $58 undercuts Spypoint's $40 plus four HD packs. The cross-brand version is in plans for multiple cameras.
Which tier for which set
- Scrape or mineral site, one camera: Starter annual ($55). 250 photos covers it.
- Feeder: Intermediate (500) or Pro; feeders burn photos.
- Crossing that decides your season: Pro plus Xtra, so you can pull HD on the buck.
- Four or more cameras, any use: Pro plus Xtra at $9 is the reason you bought Tactacam.
