Moultrie Mobile plans explained: per camera, paid, and metered on video
Three tiers, all per camera, all required, no free tier and no annual price for the two you'd actually buy. Simple to understand, easy to underestimate at four cameras. Every number from Moultrie's plan page.

Required, per camera, no free tier
That sentence is the whole difference between Moultrie and Spypoint. A Moultrie Edge cannot be run for $0; a Spypoint Flex can. And because the Edge line has no SD card, there's no local fallback if a plan lapses; images live in the app. The Edge's simplicity (built-in memory, USB-C, four-network Auto Connect) is real, and this is what it costs.
Video is the metered thing
Standard: 1,000 images and 10 videos a month. Unlimited: unlimited images and 50 videos. Extra videos are $1 per 50 on any plan; extra images are $4.99 per 500 on Standard. Moultrie AI on the Edge 3 Pro and Edge 4 "can switch from photos to HD video" when it detects a buck, which is a great feature that spends video credits. If you run Standard and the AI fires a lot, budget the $1 add-on. On-demand photo and video requests are listed as included features, not add-ons.
Pro Series and HuntPlan
Pro Series is Unlimited plus HuntPlan (property lines, wind forecasts, game plan, deer survey) at $22.99/mo per camera. Moultrie's page also notes "$7.99 per camera after first activation ($95.88 annually)" on the Pro Series line, which reads as a discounted rate for additional cameras on that tier; the page's wording is compact enough that we'd confirm it with Moultrie before running four cameras on it. HuntPlan is also sold standalone at $4.99/mo per account. For most people, Unlimited plus standalone HuntPlan ($17.98 for one camera) is cheaper than Pro Series unless you run several cameras on it.

Against Spypoint and Tactacam
Four cameras unlimited: Moultrie $51.96, Tactacam $49 (+$9 Xtra for HD), Spypoint $60 monthly or $40 annual (+HD packs). Four cameras cheapest tier: Moultrie $35.96, Tactacam $20, Spypoint $16 annual or $0 free. Moultrie is never the cheapest, and at the entry tier it's the most expensive by a wide margin.
